Privacy Policy for My Cards

My Cards is designed to respect your privacy. Your card information stays on your device and, if enabled, in your own iCloud account.
1. How Your Information Is Used
Your card information is used only on your device to provide the app’s core features, such as:
- Saving your cards
- Displaying your barcodes or QR codes
- Organizing and searching your cards
- Showing your cards when you need to scan them
- Syncing your cards across your Apple devices through iCloud, if enabled
Because this information stays on your device or in your own iCloud account, we cannot view, recover, or restore your cards for you.
2. Where Your Card Information Is Stored
Your card information is stored locally on your Apple device.
If iCloud sync is enabled, your card information may also be stored in your personal iCloud account so it can sync across your Apple devices.
iCloud storage and sync are provided by Apple. My Cards does not have access to your iCloud account or the card information stored there.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
My Cards does not collect, receive, store, or have access to your loyalty card information.
This includes:
- Card names
- Card numbers
- Barcodes
- QR codes
- Store or brand names you add
- Custom card details
We do not operate a server that stores your cards. We do not sell your data. We do not share your card information with stores, brands, advertisers, or data brokers.
4. App Settings
My Cards may store app settings on your device, such as your selected theme, country, language, or display preferences.
These settings are used only to make the app work as expected.
5. Analytics and Tracking
My Cards does not track you across apps or websites.
My Cards does not use your card information for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
If privacy-friendly analytics or crash reporting are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what is collected and why.
6. Third-Party Services
My Cards may use Apple services, including iCloud, to provide sync and backup features.
The app does not send your card information to third-party servers controlled by us.
7. Your Choices
You can delete your cards at any time inside the app.
You can manage iCloud sync from your Apple device settings.
If you delete the app, card information stored only on your device may be removed. Card information synced through iCloud may remain in your iCloud account depending on your Apple settings.
8. Children’s Privacy
My Cards is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect or store card information on our servers, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
